We decided to use some of the famous Bird’s Eye chillis for this one. It’s smoky, it’s salty, and we challenge you not to love this when doused on your tacos. A bit of mixed fruit for sweetness, and a white wine vinegar this time. It’s a different style to usual – more Latin American in style than Carribbean.

Ingredients: Water, White Wine Vinegar, Chilli (18%), Cherries (6%), Fruit Mix (Strawberry, Peach, Mango, Pineapple) (4%), Onion, Salt, Xanthan Gum, Liquid Smoke (molasses, caramel colour), Garlic.

Vegan.

Greengo 2.0 (100ml)

We’ve always been fans of the classic Mexican Valentina products here at Catford Fire. Nothing fancy, but nevertheless absolutely recognisable. One of their most delicious hallmarks is the chilli/lime/salt combo. The dried shaker goes down a LOT around these parts.

So, we decided to create a tribute to that, with loads of milder green chillis and a good amount of hand-squeezed fresh lime juice. This is designed to be a milder sauce, but darnit, it’s a good one. A little bit of punch, and a lot of zing. Turns out, this gringo knows how to make a hot sauce.

But wait! Why the “2.0”? Well, we’ve switched things up by adding some very special Mexican tomatillos. We KNOW you’re going to love it.

Ingredients: Water, Vinegar, Chilli (19%), Tomatillos (17%), Pineapple (8%), Onion, Salt, Lime Juice (1%), Xanthan Gum, Garlic, Date Syrup, Corn Starch.

Just Peachy (100ml)

We should be very clear from the outset – this is not a blended peach purée – we just liked the name, and it's made from Peach Ghost peppers. It does contain some peaches to keep the colour and the flavour all in line, and we added some banana and pineapple for texture/acidity too. Yummy yummy in your tummy. It's another one where the light colour will fool your brain into thinking it's on the milder side. Let's be clear about something else: it's not mild in the slightest. The wonderfully sweet/sour amchoor (dried mango) powder caps of this deliciously punchy sauce.

FEWER THAN 100 bottles, and they're gone.

Ingredients: Water, Apple Cider Vinegar, Chilli (14%), Tinned Peach (9%), Pineapple (5%), Banana (2%), Onion, Garlic, Salt, Amchoor Powder, Stabiliser (xanthan gum).

Vegan.
