Something a little bit different for you! We’ve never used tomatoes, and never wanted to create a ketchup (too much sugar), and that has only partially changed, as this definitely isn’t ketchup, but we thought we’d riff on the concept. So, we took a new delivery of the Cornish nagas (the last of the year – boo!) and knocked up a fearsome batch of sauce with some tomatoes and tomato puree, with a touch of pineapple to add to the acidity. We’re impressed, and we think you will be as well.
Ingredients: Water, naga chilli, apple cider vinegar, onion, tomatoes, tomato puree (citric acid), pineapple, agave nectar, ginger, garlic, salt, stabiliser (xanthan gum).
