We managed to get hold of a small amount of these rare beauties from one of our suppliers in Cornwall. The chocolate coloured naga (1 million SHU) and chocolate habañero (0.5 million SHU) are an unusual find in the UK. They’re lovely to look at and even better to make a very potent sauce with. 100ml bottle.
We used fresh papaya to balance out the heat of this one, and provide the natural sweetness, and kept it pretty simple from there, to allow the chillis to talk their language: HEAT! The result is a rich, chocolatey coloured sauce, containing no chocolate at all!
As with all superhot sauces, slowly does it!
Ingredients: Water, apple cider vinegar, chocolate naga chilli, chocolate habanero chilli, onion, papaya, garlic, salt, bayleaf, stabiliser (xanthan gum).
