The Armageddon sauces are proving incredibly popular. We know it’s the heat, but we’re also really proud of the recipe. Still using the 1.3 million SHU, second hottest chilli in the world – the Armageddon chilli, we’ve tweaked the recipe again, so we weren’t simply repeating the last ones. Fresh mango is the fruit we’ve added to this one, which presents a bit more acidity as well as subtle sweetness.
This remains a very hot sauce, but one we know you’re going to love. The cinammon and star anise bring complex aroma and taste depth you wouldn’t expect from such a big hitter. We named this one via the wonders of Instagram, where one of our fans suggested the name.
It goes without saying that this sauce should be used strictly in moderation.
Ingredients: Water, armageddon chilli, apple cider vinegar, onion, mango, ginger, agave nectar, garlic, salt, stabiliser (xanthan gum), bayleaf, cinammon, star anise.
